I have a head stall, with this I can use for completing a new bridle....
HAROLD S on Nov 29, 2016
This was an excellent purchase. My daughter uses it all the time, for gymkhana, for endurance, to change things up on a colt having some chewing issues. And highly adjustable to fit the situation. Good training item for the tack room.

I have an opinionated horse who is mildly barn sour, is this good for communicating with a squirrelly horse? He goes fine in a jim warner hackamore but I want something a little softer.
IrishHorse on Feb 12, 2015
Best Answer: In my opinion , if used properly, it's the best hackamore for any horse.

will it fit an Arabian head? he is about 900lbs.
hiyu1 on Nov 7, 2016
Best Answer: I bought it for my mare who is 14'3 and probably is around 900 pounds. Her head is not as fine as an Arab but I don't have that strap across the nose in the tightest hole. I am very happy with the hackamore. If it doesn't fit you can return it I'm sure.

can this hackamore onto an english bridle?
Madi Y on Jun 25, 2014
Best Answer: Yes. I use one for a show bridle and one on a endurance bridle. You can also stain it if the color is too light.

Trying to decide if this will fit my headstall. How wide is the hole for the cheekpiece straps?
Rachel P on Dec 29, 2013
Best Answer: Both my daughter and niece ride with this hack and my niece has the snap headstall and my daughter has a regular leather headstall. I would have to say the opening is at least 1 inch wide. Hope this helps.. they both love it.

how well is this hackamore for communicating with a horse that hasn't been ridden in ten years and needs something strong to keep her in control?
lightening15 on Aug 3, 2015
Best Answer: This is a good hackamore for a horse used to one, for your situation I would recommend a quick stop hackamore as it offers greater control and a lighter hand when applying it

what size is this hackamore? will it fit my Percheron?
A shopper on Dec 25, 2015
Best Answer: It's very adjustable. The curb strap can be completely removed if you want to lengthen or change it out. There is also an adjustable strap on the nose band. I use it for my French warm blood jumper. He is about 16.3. Hope this helps

Could this fit a Morgan Pony? Usually a cob in regular bridles.
A shopper on Nov 10, 2016
Best Answer: It should be able to, my horse has a really narrow face and sometimes uses cob bridles and it fits him

Dose it come in a dark brown and black leather?
CowboyMP on Sep 18, 2016
Best Answer: I have seen 2 Olympic jumpers, horse, not people ;), that actually wore dark, dark browns. I love this hackamore!! I am sure you could dye it if the fleece on the nose band was protected from the coloring. Again, just love this! Some of my Peruvians go from their traditional bozal, into this and a light Peruvian bit in 4 reins. Works beautifully
