February Star Sanctuary (FSS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, family-run sanctuary with a mission to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome and provide refuge for horses and cats in need. FSS improves the overall health and quality of life for horses and cats by addressing issues such as animal abandonment, animal abuse, cat overpopulation and the high numbers of shelter intake and euthanasia. February Star Sanctuary achieves success through equine and feline adoptions, fostering, refuge, TNR services and caring for cats of homeless women, families and victims of domestic violence. Additionally, FSS is dedicated to helping members of its community through outreach programs for underprivileged youth, disabled adults and kids and senior citizens living in nursing homes. February Star Sanctuary gives the unwanted a safe, secure home and builds a generation of animal advocates, one child at a time.
