Since 2012, the Jicarilla Mustang Heritage Alliance has worked to protect New Mexico’s wild horses and preserve their unique genetics. We support fertility management as a long-term solution, partnering with the USFS to manage the Jicarilla herd. We’ve gentled and rehomed over 125 mustangs, prioritizing strong adoptive matches and education. Through collaboration with like-minded partners, we focus on solutions that put the horse first.
