The Canadian Horse breed was developed from stock sent to Canada by Louis XIV of France in the 1600's. Living and thriving in harsh conditions created a breed known as the "little iron horse" due to their hardiness, strength, and versatility. Champion stallion Cherry Creek Fonzie Merit is a fine example of how excellent conformation, intelligence, and easy temperament make the breed a fantastic "everyman's horse." A gentleman in every respect, Merit competes with owner Yvonne Hillsden in dressage and goes out on trails, in addition to being a breeding stallion. He is a wonderful ambassador for his breed! 1:9 scale. Recommended for ages 8 and over
