The Houghton All Purpose Saddle is a low maintenance, lightweight synthetic saddle that is great in all weather conditions. It offers superior durability allowing you to spend more time riding and less time caring for your saddle. Synthetic saddles are lighter in weight therefore they benefit both the horse and rider. For the rider, the saddle is easier to lift on and off the horse. For the horse, it is a reduction of strain on the back muscles.
