An ideal balanced seat for eventers, the Phoenix Close Contact Monoflap Saddle by Henri de Rivel features a forward flap, molded knee roll and stationary thigh blocks. The monoflap design of this saddle provides a close feel of the horses back, while the soft covered leather offers just enough grip and is known for its stability and comfort. Not only does the single flap feature provide increased close contact feel between the ride and horse but it also provides a lighter weight saddle.The (IGP) Interchangeable Gullet Plate system allows riders to quickly and easily change the metal plate in the head of the saddle tree which allows the saddle to be used on various horses. Gullet plates are sold separately in sizes Narrow, Regular, Medium, Medium Wide, and Extra Wide. All Henri de Rivel IGP saddles come equipped with a regular width gullet.
