NaturVet® SAND-FREE™ Powder is 99.6% Pure Psyllium Husk. Husk (not seed) is the most effective part of the psyllium recommended to help support the removal of sand from the ventral colon and to maintain healthy intestinal function. It's a great source of natural bulk fiber with a yummy apple flavor horses love.

Cleaned and dried blond husk powder/granules from the Plantago Oyata plant (also known as Desert Indianwheat or Blond Psyllium)

Directions for Use:
Initially: Feed 3 heaping tablespoons (1/2 cup) per day for three days in horse's feed. Stop usage for three days, then continue for the days (maximum 30-day cycle) until problem is gone.
Maintenance and Prevention: Feed 3 heaping tablespoons (1/2 cup) in feed or bran mash once per week.
