This 7 1/2 double gag is a great competition bit and the perfect step up from an O-ring snaffle. The straight gag allows for a fluid lift in the shoulder, but also provides a faster reaction than other gags. The 5 1/8 chain mouthpiece encourages significant bend in the horses body, however, as it is mild it lengthens the reaction time between horse and rider.
