Designed for a horse that tries to lip a bit. Good leverage for control. Shank also swivels from the mouthpiece to enhance lateral control. Mouthpiece is good for nervous horse that like to play with the bit. Adds some tongue pressure to help break a horse over at the poll for better headset. More control than normal medium port. Copper is a soft metal, watch for excessive wear.
