This moon bit is designed to be an easy transition from a snaffle to a leverage bit. The 4 1/2" shanks are short to promote the introduction of leverage, while the three-piece sweet iron and copper twisted mouth adds "bite" as well as promotes salivation and aids in the prevention of the "nutcracker" effect. Choose this bit for colts, seasoned horses, or just leisure riding.
