The Reinsman Van Hargis Tapered Sweet Iron Snaffleis incredibly effective and is simplicity at its finest. From the Van Hargis Offset D-Ring Snaffle to the Van Hargis Solid Cheek Curb bit, the key is keeping as many things as familiar as possible to the horse while gradually progressing to ultimate performance; step by step and bit by bit.

This curb bit has the same mouth piece as the VH Offset D-ring Snaffle. It is the first curb bit used after the snaffle. Just like the snaffle, the sweet iron mouth has an easy tapered curve to promote an easily detectable signal while being comfortable and palatable to the horse.
